About The Client

Our client is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) whose focus is the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals within the Gene Replacement Therapy industry. They provide industry-leading GMP development and manufacturing services for cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals such as recombinant viral vectors, next generation vaccines & hard-to-express recombinant proteins and oncolytic viruses. Manufacturing Data Specialist

The Data Specialists provides administrative and data entry support to the Manufacturing Technical Operations Department. Responsibilities require significant collaboration and coordination with Operations personnel, Manufacturing managers, Quality Assurance (QA) and Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MS&T) departments

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Manufacturing Technical Operations department
  • Upload forms and documents into database for review and retrieval
  • Adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
  • Use various software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, relational databases, and ERP systems
  • Maintain data files accurately
  • Review data for completeness and accuracy
  • Contact authors of source documents to address data inconsistencies and to gather missing data
  • Manage filing and routing of source documents after entry
  • Maintain records of work completed
  • Update data in appropriate databases in accurate and timely manner
  • Enter and update files into Excel spreadsheets
  • Handle numerical data accurately
  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED. 2+ years administrative / GMP experience, or with B.S degree, no experience
  • Must have excellent typing, and accuracy skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with personal computers
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Flexibility in schedule for business needs
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to quickly and accurately type and enter data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
