Our mission is to deliver exceptional management and technology solutions supporting the protection and preservation of the people and environment of the United States of America.RMC is hiring an Audiovisual Specialist to support our customer at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head. This is a full-time temporary position, not to exceed 6-months in length. The selected applicant will be expected to keep multiple tasks on schedule, develop work quickly and accurately, and transform complex subject matter into simple terms. Audiovisual Specialist responsibilities will include:

Providing video capturing and editing support, utilizing commercial computer software such as Adobe Premiere or Apple Final Cut Pro.

Developing script copy and storyboards for various multimedia products and performing audio voice-over recording and editing.

Operating broadcast production equipment (SD, HD, IP and file-based) both in studio and on-location.

Operating still photography gear and light studio set-ups.

Providing File Format Conversions and multimedia moves between various classification environments.

Assisting with the hosting (cloud based and localized) of new media production and streaming.

Running overall production of multimedia content and setting up of vendors/third-party support as necessary.

Developing Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) for the development of products/related updates.

Properly archiving and storing files following customer’s standard operating procedures; Maintaining a repository of multimedia content and artifacts.

Performing quality control checks and testing of content pre-deployment.

Recommending and implementing alternative set-ups and/or operations for complex projects.

Performing a variety of graphics duties related to the coordination, development and layout of internal and external written products (i.e. brochures, fact sheets, reports, briefing materials, internal communications materials) and visual materials (i.e. PowerPoint presentations, posters, exhibits, digital media).

REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor's degree in a technical field, graphic arts, or studio arts is required, plus at least four (4) years of recent experience preparing audiovisual productions and presentations.

The selected candidate must have experience in the operation of cameras, television equipment and audiovisual display devices, and should be skilled in the performance of routine technical duties associated with providing audio-visual support. They must have superior knowledge of current AV & VC industry practices, standards and procedures.

The selected applicant must have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Windows applications in a PC-based development system and the Adobe Creative Suite (to include Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, and Acrobat) and Final Cut Pro in an Apple-based development system.

An active DoD secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Some travel may be required.

RMC employees may be subject to COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements in order to access government facilities.
