OverviewERP International is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support our initiatives in developing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our DevSecOps processes, ensuring that all deliverables meet user acceptance criteria while adhering to security best practices. With a strong background in Azure environments and extensive experience in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Docker, the ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor in implementing industry standards and driving continuous improvement.A current DoD Security Clearance of Secret or higher is required for this position.Job Location: On customer site (Ft. Meade, MD) with telework options.Candidates will need to be on-site at Ft Meade, MD daily for the first few months, then that may decrease based on customer requirements.Be the Best! Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools.

Ensure work product meets user acceptance criteria

Manage self-directed assignments

Meet schedule deadlines and commitments with a high-level of quality of deliverables

Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for Cloud and DevSecOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice

Recommend and implement industry standards

Implement and ensure adherence to security practices and incorporate them into the automated pipelines

Qualifications

Clearance Requirements

DoD Security Clearance of Secret or higher

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline

Minimum Experience:

5+ years of DevSecOps experience

3 years of experience with Azure and other Cloud environments

3 years of experience with application and operating system security

3 years of hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm, Nexus

3 years’ hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform

3 years of experience with Kubernetes in an Azure cloud environment

Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate strategic information security topics, policies, and standards as well as risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various organizational levels

Preferred Skills:

Certification in one or more cloud environments (Azure or AWS)

Knowledge and experience working in DoD Azure environments
