DescriptionThis Systems Engineer Level 6 (SE6) position is in support of a Program Office acquiring new Cyber capabilities Knowledge Management and Sharing Solution (KMSS). The KMSS organization is responsible for the design, development, integration and deployment of Cyber defense solutions that create, use and manipulate knowledge repositories. The SE6 will provide Systems Engineering and Program Management Support to Program Milestones and design reviews, in addition to business process re-engineering support. The SE6 will also perform risk assessment to the programs, identifying probability of occurrence and consequences IAW program documented risk assessment plan.The SE6 will provide SE support to the Engineering an Architecture Review Board, ensuring System Requirements are complete, correct and verifiable, while assisting in the definition of verifiable Requirements criteria. The SE6 will collect and maintain data necessary to support Strategic Planning, and will create any of the following technical documentation, as required:· IMP and IMS· Requirements Documentation· Information Support Plan· Architecture documentation· Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)· Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)· Programmatic AnalysesQualificationsCandidates must meet the minimum experience and education requirements to qualify for the Systems Engineer Level 6 (SE6) labor category. Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.· Portfolio/Program/Project Management experience· Acquisition knowledge/documentation experience.· This position requires strong technical and communication skills. Successful candidates will be great communicators, good listeners, comfortable with change and uncertainty, big-picture oriented, and technically proficient.· Expertise in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.· Position requires a TS/SCI clearance with FS polygraph.Desired Qualifications
