This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment and develop essential technical and interpersonal skills.Essential FunctionsFirst-Level Technical Support:

Receive and log incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.

Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues, such as password resets, software installation, and hardware malfunctions.

Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues to end-users.

Document incident resolution steps and knowledge base articles.

IT Asset Management:

Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software.

Track and manage the lifecycle of IT equipment.

Project Assistance:

Participate in IT projects as assigned, such as software deployments, hardware upgrades, and system migrations.

Assist in testing and validating new IT solutions.

Knowledge Base Maintenance:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT knowledge base.

Create and update documentation on common issues and solutions.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Service Desk Manager.

Other Functions

Assist in gathering and refining requirements

Develop, track, and report metrics consistent with management and improvement

Work Environment And Physical Demands

Basic understanding of IT concepts, including hardware, software, and networking.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to support Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other common desktop applications

Minimum Education, Experience RequirementsMust be enrolled in AA or BA/BS degree program in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related IT disciplineAdditional Requirements

Proficient using MS Office applications

Have a mix of technical and customer service skills and be passionate about technology and helping people.

Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 or 11
