Title:Jr. Software TesterBelong, Connect, Grow with KBR! KBR's Defense Systems Engineering Business Unit is seeking a front-end Junior Software Tester to provide industry-standard testing and quality assurance procedures for our application development teams. The candidate must be able to work independently and will receive direct tasking. In This Role, You Will
Create and execute test cases
Perform functional, application, and regression test
Troubleshoot test related issues to determine failure point
Report issues in a clear, concise, and timely manner to development team
Identify project testing risks and make recommendations to minimize risk
Escalate project testing issues to appropriate leadership
Accurately estimate task duration and meet schedules
Document testing results
Requires excellent communication and organization skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience that demonstrates the ability to organize workload, ability to communicate with leadership, and ability to identify risks and mitigate solutions to complete tasking.
Additional Qualifications Preferred but not required:
Software Testing experience
Software development or QA experience
Experience working in an Agile environment or knowledge of key Agile principles
