Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our team supporting mission-critical systems for a Federal customer at Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in Java development and a strong desire to learn and grow within a highly secure, fast-paced environment. Working alongside senior developers and system engineers, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reliable and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and solution design.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.Work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.Support integration, testing, and deployment of applications within secure, classified environments.Assist in improving development processes, documentation, and coding standards.
