Description Senior AccountantTo $85,000My client is a logistics company in Mount Airy that is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This hire will be exposed to several areas of the company and is a key contributor to the success of the accounting department. This role will report into the Controller and will be responsible for the following:
Participate in GL accounting, including month-end close procedures for a number of financial statement areas
Assist with preparing financial reports in accordance with GAAP
Financial statement account analysis and variance analysis - assist the FP& A team as necessary
Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation

3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with public accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
