Description Asset Management firm with excellent benefits is looking to hire a Staff Accountant who can oversee various accounting tasks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as: assisting with accounts payable/receivable activities, prepaid expenses analysis, balance sheet analysis, maintaining fixed assets, assisting with the month end close process, maintaining the general ledger, resolving accounting discrepancies, researching accounting data, and assisting with the annual audit and compliance process. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time-management and strong US GAAP knowledge.
