DescriptionThe Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Storage Subject Matter Expert to support the TN11/JRSS contract in a fully remote work environment.Primary Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and related components.
Configure and maintain virtual machines, clusters, and storage within the VMware environment.
Monitor and optimize performance of the VMware infrastructure.
Perform routine system administration tasks including patch management, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Ensure the availability and reliability of VMware infrastructure by implementing best practices and maintaining proper documentation.
Administer and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication solutions to ensure reliable and efficient backup and recovery processes.
Configure and manage backup jobs, replication, and other backup-related tasks.
Perform regular backups, restore operations, and ensure data integrity and availability.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco ISE infrastructure to provide network access control and identity management.
Implement and maintain policies for authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) using Cisco ISE.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network access control and identity management.
Able to routinely assess and remediate security vulnerability findings.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
Requires at least 10 years of system engineering experience.
Currently possess a DoD Secret clearance or higher prior to start.
Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ce.
Requires 5 years vSphere ESXi hosts and vCenter servers experience.
Require 5 years experience completing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) assessments.
Familiar with risk management process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) – VMWare.
