COMPASS POINTE CONSULTING is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to assist with a facility build-out for an enterprise financial institution. The project is in the initial phases and will be a very large effort. This role will be worked on a hybrid schedule in Owings Mills, MD.
Project manager will be managing the facilities infrastructure set up, setting up the voice, network, WebEx, etc. Daily the Project Manager will be setting up project plans, following up on action items, setting up meetings with the vendors and crews to make sure the project is on track, and creating meeting minutes to update internal associates.
The Project Manager will be joining a team of seven, five are located in the US and two are located overseas.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• PMP or Prince 2 certification or working towards a PMP / Prince 2 certification
• Must have strong IT Project management background, strong IT Infrastructure background, or IT Operations background
• Facilities projects management and office moves background are a plus
• Background working with stakeholders in the US as well as other locations
• Agile is nice to have, but most projects are in waterfall still
• Background working with Cisco, WebEx, and Zoom is nice to have
• Must be able to be on-site in Owings Mills, MD 3 days a week
