THE ROLE The Business Development Representatives (BDR) plays a vital role in representing DonorSearch's brand and acting as a brand ambassador. BDR’s have the crucial task of cultivating cold leads by reaching out to individuals or organizations who have shown no prior interest in DonorSearch's products or services. By employing effective communication and persuasive techniques, BDRs engage with these leads, nurturing relationships, and creating opportunities for future business collaborations. Duties and responsibilities
Conducting Outreach by proactively reaching out to prospective nonprofit clients, introducing them to the company's products and/or services.
Generate interest and establish a connection with potential clients. You will be required to make at least 100 calls per day along with emails.
Arranging appointments between prospective clients and the Account Executives.
By understanding the client's needs and aligning them with the availability of the sales team, you will ensure that appointments are scheduled efficiently and in accordance with the provided guidelines.
You will be required to schedule a minimum of 5-10 Demos per week.
Researching and updating the contact information of potential clients at target organizations.
This involves staying updated with changes in personnel, and ensuring that accurate and current information is maintained in the company's prospect database, along with time management.
Carrying out marketing lead validation by qualifying leads based on specific criteria, ensuring that only qualified leads are passed on to the sales team.
Handling incoming phone inquiries from clients and potential customers in a professional and courteous manner
Inputting updated contact information and notes into Salesforce, the company's CRM system, ensuring that all relevant information is properly documented and easily accessible to the sales team.
Learning the different verticals and types of non profit organizations to help customize your approach to the organizations.
Qualifications
2+ year’s in a cold call center or cold sales-related job required
Non Profit or fundraising experience is preferred
Salesforce experience is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Experience working remotely and has an in-home office space
Can easily overcome objections
This remote, full-time position offers a rate of pay of $40,000-$52,000 annually based on experience with an additional performance bonus.
