SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. Separating Service members can be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely on training full-time with approved industry partners after unit commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) provides written authorization and approval. GE HealthCare as a Skill Bridge partner offers real-world training and work experience in in-demand fields of work while having the opportunity to evaluate the Service member’s suitability for the work. Military DoD SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from GE HealthCare, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.Job Description

MUST BE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY TO QUALIFY Role Summary: The Data Analytics Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting GE HealthCare's Service Engineers in the United States and Canada, providing invaluable data-driven insights. Essential Responsibilities: - Conduct remote observations, reporting on findings.- Analyze and interpret data, facilitating informed decisions.- Foster impactful information exchange across teams.- Thrive in navigating ambiguity, displaying critical thinking.- Excel in multitasking within a fast-paced environment.- Expertly identify priorities among tasks. Qualifications/Requirements: - ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY - Possess an Associate's degree or equivalent, coupled with at least one year of data analytics experience; or a High school diploma, GED, or local equivalent, along with a minimum of two years of data analytics experience.- Showcase strong communication skills, adept at simplifying complex ideas.- Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and convey insights effectively.- Mastery of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint applications, internet usage, and basic Excel knowledge for data visualization.- Strong proficiency in the local language, both in written and verbal communication.- Exceptional organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail. Desired Characteristics: - Hold a Bachelor's degree or possess three years of data analytics experience.- Proficiency in Excel for managing and interpreting data tables.
