The ideal applicant has at least an undergraduate degree in a scientific field (e.g., psychology) and experience or interest in clinical research on substance use disorders. The research assistant will work closely with staff research scientists and study coordinators primarily on a clinical trials exploring innovative approaches to improve treatment outcomes for individuals with opioid use disorder or cocaine use disorder. ARTC is part of Maryland Treatment Centers (MTC), an established regional behavioral health provider focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and scholarship. We are a complex center offering a full continuum of levels of care for the treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders. In addition to Mountain Manor\'s primary clinical operations, we have an enthusiastic research team and a 20-year legacy of conducting clinical research on addictions and co-occurring disorders. Collaborators have included investigators from Friends Research Institute, Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland Baltimore, University of Maryland Baltimore County, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and Dartmouth College. We have also conducted trials with partners at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) through the Clinical Trials Network (CTN). Responsibilities would include: Helping to coordinate study advertisements Subject recruitment and screening (in person and over the telephone) Screening and enrollment (informed consent) Scheduling and conducting study assessments which may include study assessments such as administering questionnaires or other study procedures according to the study protocol. Scheduling and conducting subject follow-up visits/assessments as appropriate to specific study objectives. Interfacing with the research medical team to facilitate patient care Maintaining data collection and entry systems according to the research protocol Assisting the research coordinator and other study staff in a flexible manner as the study and its associated duties evolve Will involve some off-site visits in order to perform job functions (must have reliable vehicle for transporting yourself) Opportunities to be involved with dissemination of data (e.g., poster presentation) Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in a scientific field required One year of experience in clinical research preferred Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills

This role will have an emphasis on multi-family rehabilitation/renovation projects, primarily related to building envelope, facades, and/or structural systems of existing multifamily buildings and properties. You will be responsible for providing project support from evaluation and design conception through construction.Primary responsibilities include conducting on-site evaluations; technical, client-facing report writing; development of repair/rehabilitation design and specifications (independently, or with supervisor guidance based on experience level); construction observation, documentation, and administration of construction activity to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:GeneralCoordinate and manage kick-off, milestone, and closeout meetings for construction projects.Verify schedules and ensure adherence to project plans and timelines, both internally and with external resources, to meet project objectives efficiently.Prepare technical evaluation reports for clients explaining existing conditions and repair/rehabilitation recommendations. Prepare written correspondence with clients and contractors, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain organized records, files, photos, drawings, and other essential project data ensuring that they are appropriately filed within the company’s systems for easy accessibility and future reference.Perform other duties as related to the position as assigned by the firm, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to contributing to the overall success of the team.Work closely with the team to understand the scope of work, budget, goals, deliverables, and timelines to ensure project success.FieldConduct field evaluations, document existing conditions, perform field testing, create photo records, and create field-sketches.
