Job Description: The Data Support Specialist is responsible for the on-boarding, accuracy, and maintenance of all client inventory. The Data Support team works side-by-side with Development and Customer Support by assisting with complex inventory configurations for clients. As a Data Support specialist, you will be tasked with the responsibility of completing the cases assigned to you during the day via SalesForce, handle inbound client calls, and support our internal teams on all aspects of inventory data. In addition to daily responsibilities, you will be tasked with more complex projects to complete alongside standard casework.This is a mid-level, remote position reporting to theHeadquarters location (Rockville, MD). The department hours are: 8am - 10pm EST. We provide our team members with 30-day notice for assigned schedules. For our current opening, we require individuals open to working shifts within our 1pm - 10pm EST timeslot and available for weekend coverage. Essential Functions:

Utilize all available tools to provide excellent customer service to our clients while maintaining rooted in best business practices

Maintain and work through assigned casework adhering to quality standards and established process

Have a working knowledge of our core systems, processes, applications, and DQL (DealerOn Query Language)

Setup and Troubleshoot Inventory Feeds (Homenet, vAuto, etc)

Configure complex Lot Sources

Create data exports and imports to/from various third-party sources

Investigate and troubleshoot data issues (pricing, missing vehicles/photos)

Assist team members with troubleshooting and communications

Assist on more complex cases when needed

Monitoring department Slack channels to assist peers and external teams

Provide phone support to clients, other departments, and third parties

Identify and resolve customer requests promptly and accurately

Be a mentor for new hires

Assist in maintaining and optimizing internal systems through organized overhaul projects

Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

2 years of office and/or customer-facing work experience

Previous knowledge and experience working with a database (SQL)

Experience with a Content Management System (WordPress)

Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands

Detail-oriented

Strong data management skills

Identify and resolve customer requests promptly and accurately

Demonstrate strong business to business communication

Ensure quality of work meets company’s standards

Professional, friendly demeanor

Preferred Skills/Experience:

3 or more years of relevant experience

Experience in a fast-paced, environment.

Working knowledge of HTML/CSS

Interpersonal skills

Strong abstract problem-solving skills. Willingness to see how things relate even if not immediately obvious; open-minded regarding possible solutions.

Strong working knowledge of the Internet, computer systems and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

The salary range for this position is $37,500 - $66,300.

The maximum range shown represents your earning potential with DealerOn for the life time of the role.
