Summary The candidate will support GAMA-1's growing Cloud Services practice. The remote Business Analyst III will implement, oversee, and maintain project tasks, resources, and timelines for a large cloud service delivery program. In particular, the successful candidate will help drive GAMA-1's efforts to support our customers. About the RoleIn this role, you will serve as the face and liaison for establishing a robust and accurate project schedule for our enterprise cloud project. Daily, you will work closely with technical team leads, GAMA-1 and customer project managers, and other stakeholders to determine their critical tasks, identify contractual milestones, and associate interdependencies across the program to develop and maintain a detailed, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in a remote work environment. The successful candidate must be self-driven and possess the analytical skills to resolve challenging issues, often through collaboration with other technical subject matter experts. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to think strategically about the customer’s business needs and requirements, propose and architect appropriate solutions, and solve technical challenges. You are an organized, attentive, and excellent collaborator and communicator who likes to make sure everything is in its proper place. You work well in a fast-paced environment and enjoy facilitating actions and resolving issues. Replace manual reporting processes with automated reporting processes

Work directly with multiple teams and business units to understand business needs and translate those to business capabilities

Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, investors, and other relevant parties

Develop, implement, and maintain an effective schedule(s) using MS Project

Develop and maintain summary level schedule (Gantt) reports, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, near term tasks, priority-based resource allocations, performance variances

Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies, and inter-dependencies with related projects and systems

Acts as liaison with others to support relevant systems

Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.

Work with Agile projects and processes with multiple cross-functional teams

Perform requirements gathering, create/modify business process workflows, and process improvement processes in place, identifying where functionality can/cannot meet user requests

Create, maintain, and support dashboards and advanced filters for end users reporting capabilities

Meet with stakeholders to identify project needs and work with Engineers to implement them as appropriate

Requirements

Must Have

8+ years of Business Analyst or equivalent experience

Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize

Ability to adapt to change

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems

Experience developing dashboard, reports, and analytics for Business Operations, Product Operations, Program Management, or Scaled Agile (SAFe) processes across large enterprise organizations

Working knowledge of projects, workflows, issue types, permissions, and notifications

Must possess experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and/or workflow

Strong verbal and communication skills, working with senior leadership and across organizational teams

Ability to always create a positive Customer Experience and high Customer satisfaction rate

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms)

Nice to Have

PMI scheduling professional (PMOI-SP) desired

Working knowledge of AWS (helpful)

Some experience with JIRA Query Language (JQL) filters and Confluence content management

Work environment

Work is normally performed in a telework environment

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Frequent use of a keyboard, laptop and mouse

Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, collaborating with team members

Travel required: Minimal

Required education and experience

BS/BA in Computer Science, a Technical Field, or other related disciplines OR 8+ years of related experience

Experience providing program planning and/or scheduling

Preferred education and experience

Federal government experience

Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process

Work authorization/security clearance requirements

Ability to obtain aSecurity clearance
