This role is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining data in various computer systems and databases, supporting our IT operations and services. Entering complex data from various sources, such as paper documents, spreadsheets, and electronic files, into designated computer systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy.
Verifying the completeness and accuracy of data entered by cross-checking with source materials, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Adhering to established data entry procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data quality and integrity.
Maintaining organized records of data entry activities and generating detailed reports as required.
Assisting with clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents related to data entry operations.
Ensuring data security and confidentiality by following company policies and procedures.
Providing support in data management and maintenance activities, including data validation, quality control, and data analysis.
Collaborating with IT professionals, analysts, and other stakeholders to address data-related issues and improve data entry processes.
Requirements:Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum of 2-3 years of data entry experience or relevant clerical experience in an IT or technology-related environment.
Proficiency in using computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Require the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, and searching for interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources.
Occasionally perform routine work as described for Data Entry Operator I.
Experience with data entry in various computer systems, databases, and software applications.
Exceptional typing and data entry skills with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, even with complex data.
Advanced proficiency with various computer systems, databases, and data entry software used in IT operations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain data confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Desired Skills and Competencies:
Associate's degree or related post-secondary education in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
