In this role, you will provide essential personal care and emotional support to patients receiving end-of-life care in their homes. As a Hospice HHA/CNA, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the comfort, dignity, and quality of life for our patients and their families.Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with personal care needs, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Help with mobility and repositioning to ensure patient comfort.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
Monitor and report changes in patients' condition to the supervising nurse.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to patient care.
Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Maryland
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health (preferred).
Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to provide emotional support to patients and families.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
