As a Journeyman Plumber here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings. You will be accountable for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems. Your expertise will contribute to the overall functionality and comfort of our customers' facilities. You will report directly to our Plumbing Supervisor and you'll work out of our Silver Spring, MD location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of plumbing systems, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your work will directly contribute to the overall success of our Building Automation business unit. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs daily service work orders, repairs, and monthly Preventive Maintenance tickets as assigned such as below
Drainage/ bathroom fixture issues
Man hole camera inspections
Water heater repairs/maintenance
Performs assigned tours of mechanical spaces/equipment
Performs annual backflow inspections/tests as assigned
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems
Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
Work with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion
Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients
YOU MUST HAVE:
Journeyman Plumber license
5+ years of experience as a plumber
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
