This position includes a wide variety of job requirements. They will include operating the register, cooking, operating the slicer, cleaning the floors and bathrooms, cooking according to recipes, prepping and stocking supplies.
The ideal candidate for this position must possess:
⢠Good communication skills. (Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of the customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by co-workers and customers.)
⢠Must be fluent in oral and written English. (You will deal directly with the customers) You should be able to read and write work related documents in English.
⢠Must possess strong Time Management Skills.
⢠Must be able to multi-task.
⢠Must be well groomed, friendly, personable, outgoing and hardworking.
⢠Must possess good hygiene practices at all times.
⢠Must have reliable personal transportation. (Public transportation is not an option due to the early morning work schedule)
⢠Must be customer satisfaction oriented. (Pleasant when dealing with the customers at all times and should actively look for ways to assist customers and co-workers without being directed to do so)
⢠Must pay attention to detail. (Especially in moving the food along in a timely manner). We are looking for people who take pride in the cleanliness of the restaurant and take the initiative to keep it that way.
⢠Must be able to take direction well and be a team player.
⢠Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.
⢠Ability to stand for the entire day.
⢠Withstanding temperatures in freezer, refrigerator walk-in and grill areas.
⢠Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, sanitation and equipment cleaning.
⢠Assist in maintaining the kitchen, serving and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition at all times by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping counters, prep tables, equipment and organizing product on shelves in order to maintain a sanitary work condition to meet mandated health compliance requirements.
⢠Wash dishes, utensils and trays using proper sanitation procedures.
⢠Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus and supervisor's instructions.
** Will be required to learn every work station in order to obtain the knowledge to
operate it when necessary.
Employment Schedule Full time
M - F between the hours of 4:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
(May be required to fill in between 4:15 a.m. and 6 a.m.)
Saturday between the hours of 6:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not necessary.

Starting salary $11.50 - $12.00 an hour depending on experience.
