Looking for a Primary Care Attendant (PCA) to help take care of me in daily living activities. Client has a neuromuscular disease called spinal muscular atrophy. Applicant will need to have a valid driver's license, references, and resume. The PCA will live with client and provide assistance during week including weekends. PCA will assist in meal-prep, feeding, bathroom, showering, changing, run errands/driving, CPAP mask at night, etc. as client loses those functional abilities. Client is financial stable living in a 2 bedroom condo, with his own handicapped minivan. Client works from home and needs it to be quiet during meetings. Client likes to exercise at least twice a week: going to pool, working out with a personal trainer. Client also needs to be stretched out daily. Client prefers someone with medical training or experience taking care of others, but that can be negotiated. Client lives around Route 235 and Route 4. Free room and board, and applicant is responsible for his or her own bills. If applicant is hired, he or she will have access to his or her own bedroom, bathroom, condo clubhouse with a gym, and garage for storage.
