Summary/Objective:
Daily cleaning and maintenance of firing ranges on a government facility.
Essential Functions:
Daily cleaning of firing ranges.
Relocate and stock targets, props, and other equipment.
Perform occasional light maintenance on equipment.
Assist other departments in completing task, as needed.
Cross-training and advancement opportunities available.
Must be able to:
Pass background check to perform work on government facility.
Complete job required training.
Work in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic or corrosive.
Work in potentially elevated noise levels, confined spaces, including lifting in areas of low clearance.
Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects.
Wear and properly use a variety of Levels A, B, C & D personal protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators, skin, face, hand and foot protection in a multiple number of combinations.
Work at elevations, climbs ladders, scaffolding and into/out of trucks, tanks, and various other containers.
Hours of Work:
9:00AM 5:00PM, Monday Friday
Occasional overtime on Saturdays available
