As the Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment while adhering to established safety procedures and 6 S standards.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Evaluate the equipment by using an oscilloscope, volt meter, ammeter, power supplies, capacitance meters and recording style meters.

Perform 3-axis CNC machine setup, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance services.

Perform emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment during machine services.

Prepare and set up CNC machinery for scheduled production runs.

Perform various mechanical services including, but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.

Fabricate, install and maintain all electrical systems and panels, i.e. air conditioning, lighting, mechanics, gages, clocks, boiler controls, generators, compressors, etc.

Install, maintain, repair, construct, modify and provide service of electrical and electronic equipment in compliance with local building and safety codes

Replace and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances with voltages up to and including 480 volts.

Install conduit and piping and wire, rewire machinery using various circuits and phases, prints, charts or wiring diagrams.

Remove and replace motors, shields, covers, panels, solenoids and other similar electrical components by soldering and repairing.

Modify and incorporate changes to files, create a backup as needed to enable restoration of machine memory.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Read and interpret electronic prints, die drawings and other supporting documentation to determine the requirements of the maintenance job to be performed.

Operate window fabrication equipment when directed by management personnel.

Set up all machines, blocking, guides, jigs, drills, and dies on equipment to produce error free product within documented tolerances.

Operate saws, punch and drill presses, mills, and other equipment necessary to produce window parts.

Adhere to established safety procedures and 6 S standards.

Qualifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Education & Experience: Technical degree in Machinery or Industrial equipment maintenance and 7-10 years of industrial maintenance experience to include 3-axis CNC Machinery, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills: Advanced knowledge of electrical techniques. Proficiency with maintenance of complex manufacturing machinery including 3-axis machines with multiple heads, solenoid valves, digital input and output, feed rate adjustments, etc. Ability to convey electrical, electronic and mechanical logic as well as complex drawings, specifications and formulas. Ability to use a wide variety of precision and complex instruments. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and inventory control and reporting software.
