COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for Alzheimer’s disease, conditions related to the central nervous system, and pain, among others. The Company has 23 patents filed and is pursuing five assets, all of which target Alzheimer’s disease and are at various stages of development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Manage the headquarters of the company.

 Be the executive assistant of the CEO and Vice President.

 Perform human resources and payroll tasks.

 Coordinate work and travel with staff located in U.S and foreign countries.

 Do scientific and general research in both English and Spanish.

 This position leads to leadership.

REQUIRED

 3-10 years' experience in office administration, human resources/payroll/benefits, travel planning, accounting, and research work.

 Experienced in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive, etc), and Paylocity payroll system.

 High degree of proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish required, including the ability to accurately translate from English into precise and correct Spanish and vice versa

 Strong research skill, reading skill, and technical writing skill

 Ability to work individually as well as in a group and in a culturally diverse environment

 Strong communication skill and interpersonal skill to feel comfortable speaking on the phone with investors and vendors

 Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment

 Self-motivated and self- learner

 Knowledge of basic accounting is a plus

 Knowledge of science is a plus

PREFERRED

 Education: BA/MA/MS/JD/MBA

 Ability to communicate clearly

 Dedication to meet deadlines

 Detail oriented

 Adept in handling multiple and diverse tasks using technology

 Able to work with people in different time zones

PRIMARY TASKS

 Manage all office related tasks

 Assist the CEO and the Vice President

 Handle human resources, including onboarding, training, offboarding, payroll, benefits, etc.

 Coordinate with staff, attorneys, doctors, PhDs, vendors, etc.

 Track and file invoices, wires, transactions, payments

 Engage in research, translation and writing as needed

 Respond to inquiries from investors and others

 Any other tasks as needed
