JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES
Oversee the daily operations of a medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations, such as HIPAA
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Coordinate patient scheduling, including appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits
Handle billing and insurance claims processing, working closely with billing department
Monitor inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and satisfaction
Resolve patient complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical office management or related field
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare processes
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
Knowledge of acute care settings, hospital operations, and managed care organizations

REQUIREMENTS
Three years of related field experience in healthcare administration and medical front desk management preferred
Experience managing a team of medical admins; managing staff schedules; and overseeing patient scheduling across multiple locations
Experience supporting Human Resources activities including timesheet verification, payroll, benefits administration, etc…
Experience with insurance verification and medical billing processes
Experience with Electronic Health Records Management Systems
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
JOB TYPE: Full-time
PAY: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
