We are currently seeking a full time Labor / Concrete helper. Our Commercial Construction company performs equipment installation, site furnishing installation, site grading, concrete flat work, specialty coating installations, shelter installations, and other services. We are based in Lothian, Maryland and we service the DC Metro Area and beyond. We occasionally travel for some Projects beyond the DC Metro Area.
In this role, you will be working as a laborer/concrete helper. You will be working under an experienced tradesman who will train you. This is a good role for someone who has experience in construction.
What is required?
Must have a good work ethic and be willing to perform general labor
Ability to lift heavy things over 50lbs
Availability to travel and stay out of town occasionally. Our typical service area is DC Metro area but we occasionally travel outside of this area for work. All travel will be compensated for by the company when travel is required.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug test, and criminal background check
A clean criminal history is required since much of our work is on secured sites that require background checks.
Must be legal to work in the United States
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 /hour depending upon experience
