Your Role:
As an Interior Trim Carpenter, you will lead the installation of custom modern accent walls using premium trim and finishing techniques. You’ll follow our signature installation process and ensure every client’s space is protected, respected, and elevated with a professional-grade finish.
What You'll Do:
Client Engagement & Confirmation
Send professional ETA text messages via Slack before each job
Warmly greet clients and review all project details upon arrival (layout, paint colors, trim specs, etc.)
Confirm restroom access and cleanup station locations onsite
Installation Process
Protect & Prepare: Apply floor and furniture protection to safeguard the client’s home
Precision Layout: Measure and sketch layout designs to scale directly on the wall
Trim Work: Cut, miter, and install MDF/pine trim with brad nails and adhesive
Paint Prep: Sand, fill joints, caulk seams, and apply clean, crisp coats of paint
Detail Execution: Finish with flawless alignment, smooth transitions, and zero gaps
Daily Communication & Documentation
Post progress updates with photos to Slack every 60–90 minutes
Report lunch breaks, end-of-day status, inventory logs, and payment updates
Assist with final payment collection and client satisfaction documentation
Wrap-Up & Client Reveal
Perform a detailed QA walk-through and make final touch-ups as needed
Clean up thoroughly—leave the space better than you found it
Present the finished wall with professionalism, enthusiasm, and gratitude
Educate the client on their 50-Year Labor Warranty
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in trim carpentry, millwork, or finish carpentry (interiors)
Proficient with miter saws, brad nailers, levels, tape measures, and painting tools
Skilled in precise measuring, caulking, sanding, and clean paint finishes
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
Strong communication and client-facing professionalism
Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work independently or with a partner
Tech-savvy enough to use Slack, take site photos, and follow digital checklists
