Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk for our team based in TOWSON, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing accounts for billing purposes, processing adjustments, and providing customer service to resolve discrepancies. This role is ideal for those skilled in accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, and billing functions. Responsibilities: Review accounts for billing purposes Assist with appeals where discrepancies are identified, and process necessary adjustments Review data and follow up with customers on invoices to resolve discrepancies Receive and investigate reports with accounts, identify issues and correct them prior to billing Utilize skills in data analysis, account review, and calculation of adjustments Provide customer service, with the ability to handle challenging customer situations Use Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and other tools to perform Billing Functions and Collection Processes Maintain accurate billing statements and perform account balance and account analysis as needed Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely and accurate billing.
