OverviewThe ideal candidate will strengthen our Finance and Accounting Team as our business continues to grow, working specifically with our acquired business units. You will work with members of our Accounting team, which is responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Finance for our Contract Business Units. The successful candidate should have strong analytical, organizations and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information in a concise and comprehensible manner. Ability to perform a variety of financial tasks including planning, analysis, budgeting and reporting. ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for: Lead and supervise the divisional Accounting Team, including oversight of AR and AP. Responsible for the accuracy of the books and records of the division Lead the month end close process to ensure all month end deadlines are met Oversee and manage daily, monthly and annual cost and revenues for divisions Coordinate with Corporate Finance on monthly close Prepare GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes. Ad Hoc Reporting as may be required Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and AbilitiesBachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field 2+ years of experience in a similar role Experience in the Construction Industry a plus Managerial Experience a plus Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to utilize and adapt to multiple ERP/Financial Systems Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills/Strong Analytical thinker with top notch problem solving skills Position is available as either in person in one of our office locations, or as a remote position.
