Summary: To Sell what our Buyer Buys and support Outside Sales by performing inside sales functions, organizing logistics, and providing great customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Selling to customers and assisting them in the selection of decorative lighting fixtures and accessories
Additional lighting design will be necessary with more experience, including:
Recessed lighting layouts
Lighting and Shade Control packages
House-Vac, ventilation and other misc system layouts
Warm Tile system layouts
Greeting walk-in customers, answer phones, entering orders, taking deposits and managing the orders through the entire sale process
Including Expediting backorders and Returns
Placing a purchase order directly with a vendor when a customer or situation requires
Inspecting material for correctness during a return
General housekeeping duties to keep showroom appearance within company standards
Occasionally Open / Close the store (if authorized)
Balancing cash register 100% accuracy at the close of each business day
Including occasional bank deposits (which are reimbursed monthly @ $1.50 per deposit)
Participate in the company Quality System (write 3 PONCs a month)
Participate in the company training system (complete 2 BlueVolt modules a month)

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High school graduate
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Computer Skills to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
MS Excel Spreadsheet
MS Word
Ability to CUT & PASTE pictures and text from one data source to another
Ability to attach pictures and documents to an email.
Basic email operations
Internet Explorer
Can demonstrate an understanding sending and opening a scanned document

You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating and/or attending trade shows, seminar, and similar events. You will provide education of Honeywell product through technical presentations. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP). This is a #remote role but will require travel along the Eastern territory of the United States.
