Seeking applicants for a part time addiction counselor to conduct 3 outpatient groups a week.
Responsibilities:
Conduct group counseling sessions and monitor individualized treatment plans. Document clinical care delivered timely and comprehensively. Substance use screening, assessment, recovery education, case management, psychosocial referral, discharge planning and follow-up are core components of service delivery.
Qualifications:
Possession of a degree in human services, counseling, social work or related field and Maryland state certification or licensure in an allied health field is required. Addiction Counselor Trainees will be considered. Must have a minimum of one year of work experience providing substance use disorder clinical services. Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to work independently and as a team player.
