Job Summary
This is an independent contractor position. Flexible schedule. We are seeking a Maryland licensed Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing installation, repairing, and of maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Candidate must be able to pull permits.
Duties
- Oversee installation of plumbing systems in new construction projects or remodels
- Interpret blueprints to map layout for pipes and drainage systems
- Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline issues
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing
Requirements
- Must have an active Maryland Plumbing license
- Experience in construction plumbing or as a maintenance person
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
