Our busy Dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team!Duties: Utilize Electronic Medical Record systemAssist physicians by performing administrative and clinical dutiesInterview patients to obtain their medical historyRecord patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical filesClean and sterilize medical equipment and instrumentsAssist physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materialsClean treatment rooms following patient examinationsDemonstrate a commitment to maintain work practices that comply with established office policy and proceduresPromote a safe environment for patients, visitors and peersOversee and ensure that patients’ needs are met and that patients are served in an efficient and patient friendly mannerRespond to staff doctor needs before, during, and after patient examAnswer incoming telephone calls, greet, and check in patients in a professional, courteous, and timely mannerQualifications: Excellent computer skillsAbility to work with confidential information and under pressureStrong communication skillsStrong organizational skillsDemonstrates initiativeTeam playerWilling to travel to both office locations if needed (Brookline & Andover)Job Type:Hours  Monday-Thursday: 8 am-5 pmExperience:Willing to train Education:High School Diploma or equvalent requiredCertifications/Licenses:Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma or Associate degree preferredPay:Pay Starts 25.00 per hour and increases based on experience
