As a Quality Assurance Engineer I within Supplier Quality, your responsibilities may include the followingEngineering review of drawings and related documentation to determine appropriate quality requirements for purchased partsAssisting in resolution of requests from suppliers and buyers on supplier quality requirements and approved supplier issues.Working closely with members of supplier quality, supply chain, program quality and engineering to address issues preventing material procurement.Creation and publishing of supplier quality performance metrics / data. This will include analyzing supplier defect and performance data to identifying trends, key drivers and opportunities for improvement.Coordinating with incoming inspection on disposition of nonconforming material provided by suppliers.Required Skills:Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate (or completed a degree no more than 18 months prior to start date) with an emphasis inEngineering or Quality Assurance.U.S. Citizenship is requiredDesired Skills:Experience working with engineering drawings and technical requirementsExperience working with management and resolution of engineering issuesStrong Microsoft Excel skills.Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Word)Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.High energy, self – starter with ability to perform work under general directionPrevious work experience, electrical or test engineering experience preferredDemonstrated ability in developing solutions to issues using an organized systemic approachExperience developing and analyzing data, using the information to understand current state and predict future performance.Experience with SAP169081Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
