Good Opportunity for a recent major and graduated in accounting.

Salary for this position is 18.00 per hour after 4 weeks of training, familiarization with specific location and organization of the data base and paper records.

This accounting and management firm is a great learning center for an accounting graduate who really needs to capitalize experience and growth.

Position Title: Jr. Accountant- 35 hrs. a week minimum

On a typical business day, candidate will:

Prepare and editing a variety of accounting and financial reports such as bookkeeping, Forms 1040, 1120s tax preparation

Reconcile financial reports in according with bank statements

Assist Senior Accountant in processing payroll and management consulting records.

Resolving back taxes from IRS and /or DOR

Conduct special projects assigned by Senior Accountant and CEO

The ideal candidate for this position should be a career committed for a recently graduated from an accredited US college. We understand that your level of effective participation and output on your job will increase as you get more involved in your daily assignments. Your basic training salary of $15.00 per hour will be revised for your new salary upgrade after completion of your four-week training. This new salary will be 18.00 per hour.

This new staff member must be expected to work for Copley at least for 12 months in a year.

Condition required for your Job Resignation

Due to the nature of the tax and payroll service we provide, Copley Tax will not accept hiring students who need to leave his (her) job with 2-week notice. All staff members are expected to cover the HIGH TAX SEASON PERIOD from September through July 30th. If you notify Copley to leave your position before the end of the tax season without medical verification of severe sickness or loss of family member, you will be subject to a 1,000.00 penalty.

Reporting

You will be reporting routinely to your Supervisor or to your Executive Manager for work reviews and progress.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Must communicate in English fluently

Legible handwriting and limited letter writing will be a plus

0-1-year experience in general accounting

Be able to communicate with government agents, clients and insurance in an effective professional manner.

Be able to read, analyze and prepare basic financial statements following GAAP and in compliance with Government reporting regulations.

Be able to research current tax regulations in compliance with IRS, DOR and some lending banks, others.

Assist to other accountants in preparing corporate income taxes

Work in an active paced atmosphere to meet the client’s deadline.

Exhibit and deliver a professional image in person and phone interaction.
