Roth Staffing is looking for a Senior Project Manager within the insurance industry for our client in Boston, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader with a strong corporate culture and competitive pay.

Job Description:
Understand the objectives of the project and work with IT and business leaders to enable and coordinate delivery execution
Prioritize and handle simultaneous demands including managing key business needs while handling specific project execution tasks and leading project execution
Facilitate meetings/hold scrums with project managers and leads.
Communicate leadership decisions and information to all project execution team leaders and stakeholders
Make effective use of available work styles or frameworks, including tools, techniques and templates, processes and governance practices
Understand established practices and guidelines and adapt them to the needs of the project
Consult with team members and leaders to define the project approach, schedule, success metrics and scope
Develop comprehensive execution plans, including dependencies and resources
Facilitate and encourage project communication through multiple collaboration tools and methods
Manage scope and use appropriate change control or scope management processes
Manage all aspects of a project to execute against the plan including managing risks and mitigation plans, tracking progress and reporting status, handling changes, facilitating issue resolution, and communicating decisions
Motivate and coordinate team members from various internal departments and vendors, to drive solution delivery
Effectively manage risks, issues and outstanding decisions to rapid closure
Understand and present project financials, including forecasts, actuals tracking and over-spend mitigations
Ability to manage distributed vendors and managed services providers as part of the project teams
Experience in managing business process improvement efforts
Manage constraints for effort within a program
Work with developers, operations, engineers, analysts and business staff on assigning tasks, establishing project deliverables and scheduling of those tasks and deliverables.
Assist IT management with the utilization of resources for project planning activities.
Skilled in conducting cost benefits analysis and business case development
Able to manage interdisciplinary projects and teams to ensure deployment of systems and solutions
Possess a strong ability to manage the people side of change, manage resistance and drive adoption of new solutions
Ability to provide robust roles and responsibilities clarity and reinforcement during operating model transition
Data-driven, analytical background is a plus
Six Sigma/or Kaizen experience preferred, but not required
Experience with Service/Discipline Development and Operationalization Projects a plus
