Our client, a law firm in the Boston area, is seeking a Temporary Catering Assistant to join their team. This role is onsite, with the option of either working 4 days a week with the hours being 9:45am to 7pm or working 5 days a week with the hours being 11:30am to 7pm. The role would include strong customer service and hospitality duties such as cleaning, assisting in set-up with meals for events, preparing conference rooms, and maintaining a pristine environment. This role is compensating $22 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for consideration!Responsibilities:Clean and stock all pantries and lounges daily.Assist in the set-up, service, and clean-up of any breakfasts/lunches/dinners/events.Prepare conference rooms and deliver/remove all beverage and food carts in a timely manner.Order last minute meals and deliver in a timely manner.Always maintain an immaculate environment.Assume additional responsibilities as requested.This role requires 100% in office presence.Qualifications:1+ years' experience in the food services or hospitality industry, preferably within a large corporate environmentA professional demeanor and willingness to wear a uniform.Strong interpersonal, communication and hospitality service skills.Proven ability to work both independently as well as on a team, in a busy, time-sensitive environment.Ability to lift 40 lbs. and to push carts of equal weight.Ability to work until 7:30 p.m. to cover vacations and absences.Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and administrative skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet various deadlines.Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.Outstanding sense of customer service.Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude.Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.Must be self-motivated to produce quality work.High level of integrity and honesty.Excellent computer skills and ability to quickly master new applications and software as needed.Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
