Kindergarten/1st Grade Afterschool Teacher
Interviewing for an Afterschool Kindergarten/1st Grade Teacher to join our team. As an afterschool Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in curriculum/activity planning instruction along with the program and K/1 Coordinators. Friendly professional working environment. Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive afterschool experience
-Help plan special activities and events.
Experience:
- Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a childcare, afterschool, school, camp setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Experience in theater, sports, coaching, tutoring, or arts and crafts a plus
- First aid/CPR certification is preferred but will provide
