About You:

Responsibility comes naturally to you and you are always willing to work as part of a team. Ideally, you have experience working with adult ESL students in a classroom setting and have the appropriate certification.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution
- 120-hour TESOL/CELTA/TEFL Certificate with a teaching practicum OR three months full time teaching adult learners
Experience teaching at a comparable institution is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
-Plan and deliver interesting ESL lessons incorporating your own ideas as well as teaching a set curriculum from a book.
-Engage with adult learners on their level.
-Take daily attendance.
-Assign and check homework.
-Proctor and grade weekly exams.
-Attend monthly paid professional development meetings.
-Work in tandem with the Academic Director to create a safe and structured environment conducive to student learning.
