Guitar Lesson Teacher/Music Education Position:
Bosse School of Music (Weymouth, MA). The South Shore's premier organization for contemporary music, is looking for a part-time guitar instructor to join our faculty teaching kids/teens & some adults. Patience and friendly personality are a must!
Preferred availability is 2-3 days/week with potential for future growth in our studio. We are looking for a talented, reliable professional to join our expanding faculty.
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay / DOE ($29-40 per hour). Additional consideration for Master's Degree candidates.
Schedule/Start: we have an immediate need to expand our staff our ideal candidate can teach a variety of material, incorporating a strong, technique-based foundation with the modern music and styles that interest our students. Progress & fun are the name of the game.
Seeking help for 2 days/week. 3pm-8pm. And/or Sats 10am-3pm.
This position will begin in late Sept.
Our student roster is full, creating a robust schedule for our new hire to enjoy. 12 month commitment required.
Our ideal candidate should possess the following:
-Punctuality and professionalism
-Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (in music specifically)
-Excellent communication skills
-Outgoing personality/ability to create a fun and welcoming experience for students
-Minimum 2 years prior (musical) teaching experience with children/or teens
-Knowledge of modern styles w/strong reading skills
-Ability to teach beginner to advanced students
-Excellent musical and professional references
-Reliable transportation
