We are looking for a mentor for our son with Autism. He likes to go to community gathering on Friday night. 5 PM to 7 PM. You will need to be with him at that time. From 3 to 5 PM you can ride bikes, play basketball or walk in the neighborhood. On Saturday and Sunday, between 10 am to 4 pm, you will follow a daily living skills program at our home. This includes making salad, snacks and cooking macaroni cheese, play tennis, ride bike, play with computers. You need to have some basic knowledge about cooking. You can cook anything that you like. We will also train you. He likes to be busy with activities.
You can work for four to five hours during Saturday and Sundays.
You need to have at least a high school degree. a college going student or a graduate in any discipline. Experience in working with special need young adults is a plus.
