We’re on the lookout for a warm, experienced, and engaging science tutor to work 1:1 with a bright and curious rising 10th grader who loves science, and thrives with individual attention and encouragement. The focus of sophomore year will be BIOLOGY for her this year.
This student learns best when supported by someone who can:
Break down complex scientific concepts with clarity and patience
Offer structure and academic accountability without pressure
Serve as a kind, consistent sounding board for questions, homework, and projects
Inspire curiosity and confidence in Science
The ideal tutor is someone who:
Has prior experience teaching or tutoring high school science
Is empathetic, organized, and responsive to a teen’s learning style
Can meet in person once a week at our home in Lexington, MA, for ongoing support throughout the full 2025–2026 academic year.
This is a meaningful opportunity to help a student not just “get through” science, but to truly love it more — and pursue a career in it possibly.
