We are seeking warm, professional, and creative teachers to join our team. We will have open positions in our toddler and transitional Kindergarten classrooms at our highly regarded Jewish preschool in the heart of Brookline, near Coolidge Corner and public transportation.
Passionate learning begins in our schoolas children learn through play, exploration and discovery. At Kehillath Israel Preschool we offer a friendly, supportive work environment, excellent compensation and benefits, paid breaks and planning time, and excellent teacher-student ratios. We are hiring for full-time and part-time school year positions, with the option of working our summer program as well. Start date will be in late August 2024 or June 2024 if hired for summer program as well.
Requirements include:
A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or related field and preschool or toddler teacher certification from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) will be required. A Bachelor's degree or higher and EEC Lead Teacher certification preferred. Familiarity with Judaic traditions is preferred, but not required. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team teaching environment, as well as with parents, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
