JOB SUMMARY:
In support of the mission and covenant of First Parish in Wayland, the Sunday morning classroom teacher will work with the children of the congregation to engage them with the Unitarian Universalist faith and offer them time for learning, and exploring our values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Teach Lessons provided by Director of Lifespan Education to children on Sunday Mornings
Meet with Director of Lifespan Education weekly to discuss weekly lesson and any concerns with children in class.
Read over lesson and be sure materials for lesson are collected.
Tidy the classroom before and after your time with the kids.
Schedule: Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am and 1 hour weekly for remote meeting by Zoom during the week with Director of Lifespan Education and preparing for lesson.
