Haley & Aldrich, Inc. has multiple openings for multiple positions including Assistant Project Manager, Environmental Engineer for WFH opportunity.
Responsibilities: The Assistant Project Manager, Environmental Engineer is responsible for working with real estate development institutions and market sectors to provide environmental assessments, investigate soil data, and work on environmental and geotechnical projects for a wide range of clients. Perform site investigations to delineate the extent of contamination in soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and soil gas, including Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments. Prepare proposals, project report/deliverables, and regulatory compliance submissions, including MassDEP Massachusetts Contingency Plan deliverables. Plan and direct environmental field observations and testing programs, including laboratory test selection and data evaluation. Manage financial and technical aspects of projects from conception to delivery. Mentor lower-level staff members in technical environmental engineering tasks. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to our Charlestown, MA office.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 6 years of experience in the job offered or related position. Other special requirements include: 6 years of experience working with contaminations analysis, characterization, profiling, and disposal; 6 years of experience collecting soil, groundwater, soil gas, surface water, and sediment samples; 6 years of experience preparing project proposals and reports; 6 years of experience participating in site safety briefings and audits; and 6 years of experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of environmental data specific to client sites.
Pay Range: $124k – $144k
