We are a large misc. metals fabrication company seeking an additional CAD steel detailer/draftsman. We're a second generation company that's been in business for over 40 years fabricating metals stairs, railings, ladders, etc. for commercial construction projects such as schools, universities and municipal buildings. Ideally we're looking for someone with steel drafting experience but we have the ability to train CAD users that are not familiar with steel construction.
Position: CAD detailer/draftsman
Work Hours/Days: Monday to Friday. 40 hours/week
Hourly rate: Up to $35/hr depending on experience
Some weekday/weekend OT may be needed

JOB DESCRIPTION
Create submittal drawings based on architectural and structural contract drawings
Create individual piece fabrication drawings
Check drawings created by other detailers in the office for accuracy
Proficiency with AutoCAD required
Must be able to read architectural and structural contract drawings
