Applicant provides energy analysis, building energy modeling, and sustainability consulting for commercial and multifamily residential buildings, pursing green certifications, such as LEED. Applicant uses a suite of analytical tools, such as EQuest (an energy simulation tool) to inform building design teams on strategies for energy conservation and greenhouse, gas emissions reduction. Applicant will also work on LEED documentation for large commercial and residential projects and participate in client meetings alongside the project manager. Applicant will be required to present results and recommendations from their analysis verbally, in written form, and through diagrams and graphics. Applicants receive training from and work directly with senior personnel and founding principal. Applicants are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Building Design, Architecture, or related field, plus at least eighteen (18) months of working experience within an engineering position.
