Description A client of Robert Half has a new job opening for a Software Developer. This position requires the chosen candidate to be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Boston, Massachusetts area.Major responsibilities
Fix and offer production support
Provide clear and consistent communication around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams
Habitually execute code-review and work together with other developers
Unite with Scrum team to furnish accurate work estimates
We're looking for someone who can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems Requirements - Less than one year of experience preferred
It is preferred for applicants to have experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc.
Solid understanding of Python
Expertise in Create Dashboards
You might be a good fit for this position if you are familiar with Scrum
If you have knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF, you will be strongly preferred
This position requires familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)
It is preferred for applicants to have the ability to write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments
This position will be the best fit for a candidate with experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.
