Brassica Kitchen and Café is a local, family owned restaurant and weekend brunch spot in Forest Hills.

We're a full-service, ferment forward brunch and dinner joint and are proud to be a staple in the JP neighborhood. We’re a casual, yet creative and guest-focused establishment, where we encourage our team to have fun, be themselves, and welcome our guests and friends to our culture. While the pandemic has changed our industry in many ways, it has NOT changed our love for what we do We're looking for others who share this passion and enjoy working in a team centric, pooled house.

We are stoked to continue our "20% administrative and benefits fee" - in lieu of traditional gratuity - as it supports fair wages for both Front and Back of House and supports our "shared house" mentality, central to who we are. We are proud to be a part of this way of life!

We're looking for folks who enjoy with this model, want to work hard and have a good time doing it, and believe that appreciation for the guest experience is just as important as the menu offered. We may be casual and fun, but we take our roles seriously.

We are hiring both PT and FT serving positions for dinner service Weds thru Sat (5p - 11p) and Sat/Sun brunch (10a - 3p), as well as a few back-serve positions.

While we are willing to train those with passion and work ethic, experience in a fast-paced restaurant is preferable. We rotate our menu regularly and a desire to learn is a must. Proficiency in Toast and Opentable are bonuses.

Start time is between 3p and 4p for evenings and 9a-930a for brunch. 1 brunch shift a week is the minimum requirement for all FT positions.
