From weddings, to corporate gatherings and private parties, our passionate and successful team aims to impress with both food and service, every time. Food presentation and creativity are at the heart of what we do. Our Event Chefs are responsible for collaborating with our Executive Chef, reviewing menu content, assessing dietary needs of our guests, creating a thorough plan of service, and cooking and presenting gorgeous, delicious food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste and presentation to meet company standards
- Manage food preparation and service in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with event planners, catering managers, and service staff to ensure seamless event execution
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Supervise kitchen assistants and support staff, ensuring smooth operations during events
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a high end catering and/or restaurant and/or hotel environment
- Positive attitude is key! We lead with kindness and collaborate with a diverse and dynamic team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules
- Ability to travel to various event locations in Boston and New England
